Pricing questions
What counts as a Pinyata transaction?
Any completed order where a customer selected conditions through the Pinyata widget. If a customer completes checkout without using Pinyata, you pay nothing for that order.
Do I pay the 6% even if the customer gets the rebate?
Yes. The 6% is your flat cost regardless of outcome. Pinyata handles all rebate payouts separately. Your cost is always predictable.
What if a customer returns the product?
The Pinyata fee is non-refundable. It covers the promotional service delivered at the time of purchase. Refund policies between you and your customer are separate from Pinyata.
Are there volume discounts?
Not currently. One flat rate for all merchants. We may introduce volume pricing in the future for very high-volume merchants.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No contracts, no minimums. You can add or remove Pinyata from your store at any time. We bill monthly for the previous month's Pinyata transactions.
